My jealousy meter just went through the roof. Have fun man...There
are just no shows that are close enough for me to get to this tour.
I'm hoping that next year will bring them closer. Again man, enjoy

Ed had a little trouble with the Rival lyrics, but it sounded great
anyway. Honestly, if they jammed this tune out a little bit it could
be an interesting feature in their sets. I was really impressed.

I have been dying for PMPM to make a return for years and am totally
bummed that I missed it.

I am *sure* that the next two nights will give you plenty of reasons
to be thankful that you picked the second 2 shows over the first 2. :)

Philly 3

Set List: Gonna See My Friend, The Fixer, In My Tree, Given To Fly,
Tremor Christ, Untitled/ MFC, Hold On, Unthought Known, In Hiding, Deep,
Habit, Cropduster, Off He Goes, Force Of Nature, Present Tense, Got
Some, Do The Evolution

1st encore: Just Breathe w/string quartet, Parting Ways w/string
quartet, Jeremy w/string quartet, Breath, Light Years, Rearviewmirror

2nd encore: Whipping, Crazy Mary (Williams), Footsteps, Once, Alive,
Sonic Reducer (Dead Boys), Baba O'Riley (Townshend)

The first set was pure brilliance! But the crowd sucked. It was very
much a Ten crowd. I was in the guest section (through a late release),
and after the first set, one girl turned around to me and said she
hadn't recognized a single song!

I guess that's why they pulled out Jeremy, Breath, Footsteps, Once,
Alive... the crowd went wild on the encores...

Tremor Christ was nailed this time... and Deep was incredible... haven't
heard Habit in a while, and it was great!

All in all a good show, something for everyone... but tonight will be
better... fan club show, last show, guests, etc. Plus someone said the
security said they are told they will have to stay until 2am...

What do you mean by "fanclub show." Weere there more fanclub seats
sold for 10/31 than for 10/30?

Sorry to hear that some people weren't into the obscurity, but you are
going to get that at every show. Frankly, if she didn't recognize a
single song in the main set then that means she doesn't even own Ten,
which is pretty weak if you ask me. How can she expect to recognize
songs if she doesn't even own one of their albums? (And who wouldn't
recognize Given to Fly???)

This looked like a great show. I'm sorry I had to miss it, but there
was no way for me to do more than one show this year. I'll be at work
all night tonight, but looking forward to coming home and drinking in
the setlist from tonight's show.

Set 1

* Why Go
* Last Exit
* Corduroy
* Severed Hand
* The Fixer
* Elderly Woman Behind The Counter In A Small Town
* You Are
* Amongst The Waves
* Even Flow
* Pilate
* Unthought Known
* Daughter/Another Brick In The Wall
* Johnny Guitar
* Rats
* Out of My Mind
* I Got Id
* Glorified G
* Black
* Insignificance
* Life Wasted

Encore 1

* Just Breathe
* The End
* Low Light
* Speed of Sound
* Jeremy
* Inside Job
* Bugs
* Spin The Black Circle
* Porch

Encore 2

* Whip It
* Got Some
* Crown Of Thorns
* Satan's Bed
* Sweet Lew
* Do The Evolution
* Better Man/Save it for Later
* Smile
* Alive
* Rockin' In The Free World
* Yellow Ledbetter

I actually liked night 3's setlist better... even though this was a
marathon show! The band was better, more animated night 3, but the crowd
was excellent night 4... highlights for me were Bugs, Pilate, Whip It,
Sweet Lew, Satan's Bed, You Are. Unfortunately, they included a lot of
songs which are not my favorites (Amongst The Waves, Evenflow, Daughter,
Johnny Guitar, I Got Shit, Glorified G, Black, Insignificance, Life
Wasted, Speed of Sound, Jeremy, Inside Job, Crown of Thorns, and the
last 5, that's 18 of the 40, almost half, that are amongst my least
favorite PJ songs)... With over 120 songs they can play, how is that
possible? I'm sure they are all someone's favorites, though...

Yes, they sold an extra allotment of fan club seats for nights 1 and 4.

I freaked when I saw the accordion, and Ed fucked it up at first, and
then almost didn't try again! The crowd convinced him, and he nailed it!

Whip It was so cute! They were all dressed in Devo suits and hats, and
making Devo moves, and Ed had a whip... what fun! Believe it or not, I
was trying to get some friends to order Devo hats for this show... what
a coincidence that would have been!

Sweet Lew was really fun, too, with Jeff just wailing on it, and Ed was
bouncing a basketball as an accent... I couldn't see, but maybe he was
bouncing it on one of those sound boxes he used in his solo shows when
stomping his foot, because he always went to the same spot to bounce it,
then over to a mike to sing backup ... that man can handle a ball... :)

I love Rats, and they had someone dressed up in a Rat suit come up on
stage and dance around. Out of My Mind was kind of good, although not
much of a song, more of an improv back then... they cleaned it up and it
was a nice surprise.

The End... Ed needs to stop singing this, or quit fucking smoking...

At the end, first a TON of confetti came pouring down, and then
balloons... it was so much fun!

Laurie, I saw you but was too far away to say hi. Was in row 11 on the
aisle for night 4. Ended up getting tickets for both nights so that was
very cool! Glad I didn't miss these shows. Smile was the highlight for
me. After 25 shows or more it finally made the set list for me. And
Bugs is a personal favorite and is a song that has some special meaning
for me, so I'm glad Ed gave it another try. Loved the festive mood!
Good vibes in crowd by me. I'm so glad I went to both shows. And of
course, PJ fans came through with tix at face value. And I was relieved
to find out that no special guests would be joining them. It was good
that Ed put that rumor to rest early on. I don't like sharing my PJ
show with other performers! - Dawn

I agree, Ed handled the rumor bit well by addressing it with humor early
on. I don't like most special guests, but they are fun, and it just
seemed odd to me that they didn't have some guests at the last show,
since they had several in LA... but it was a very special show with the
sheet length and costumes and the confetti and balloons.
