EV Australia solo tour recordings?

Hey guys,
Long time no post.I used to be pretty active here from about
1997-2005, but life got in the way and I dropped out.

Anyway, I went to the EV show in Brisbane on Saturday night (12/3/11)
and would love a recording of the gig. Anyone know any sources?

they're hard to find as I don't think solo shows are "encouraged" to be
recorded like PJ shows. On the tour a few years back, websites that
hosted copies of that EV tour had to pull them down.

There was one website that kept links to them, but the links would go
down really quick.

Maybe someone will post them on usenet, or somewhere less easily abused
by DMCA takedown notices? :)

Yeah, recording is prohibited, but I'm guessing something will surface,
because they didn't check anyone going in, and the venues all allowed
multiple entry.

I'm really looking forward to the DVD and CD they are putting out of one
of Ed's shows...

Just got back from seeing 8 shows in Australia, and they were fantastic!
Eddie is really getting to be good at these solo shows, and mixing it
up quite a bit. In Canberra, I had a fantastic seat, and he played
Parting Ways, Masters of War (nailed it.. much better than in
Newcastle), and Immortality... Unbelievable.

Had a religious experience during MOW, because he was so intense, it
completely put me back to the Bob Dylan tribute when he sang it, when
after a few notes, I had to come running from the next room to see who
that incredible voice was... that was the beginning...

Sydney shows were great, especially the last 2. I was happy with the 8
shows, but I know I will be ready for 5-6 more California shows in July!

Yeah, I was seriously considering recording some/all of the concert on
my android phone. But I had an usher right beside me and she'd asked
me to turn my phone off even before the concert started. I wasn't
prepared to risk getting kicked out. Eddie's security guard was
hanging around pretty closely too. But if you were sitting in the
middle of a row it would have been pretty straight forward to record
the whole thing. I'm confident that there will be recordings, it will
just be a matter of finding them.

Immortality Laurie... That would have been awesome. That was one of
the songs we were hoping for in Brisbane. That and I Got Shit. Oh
well, I was really happy to get to see Off He Goes. Definitely the
highlight.

Anyway, let us know if you find anything and I'll do the same.
