Well, Manchester and London were great shows, liked the setlist in
Manchester, but the energy in London was fantastic, especially for white
people who don't move during the songs!

But the Chicago shows brought it home for me. Maybe it was because in
England, I was on the side with a great view and messing with my camera,
and in Chicago on the floor sans camera, but I just thoroughly enjoyed
those shows.

I am on my way to Spain for 2 weeks, business conference and holidays...
I mean, how can they hold a conference in Spain and NOT expect me to
explore the area?

I have been home only 6 days in the last month, and will be home from
Spain just a few days before the Seattle shows! Whew! Still can't
believe I lucked out on not missing any shows while in Spain...

Hope to catch up on my blog sometime this year!

I have a question. When they play a "tour" or a series of shows, what
is the percentage of shows you see? It seems like you hit every
show. I'm not trying to be mean, I was actually wondering because you
are always talking about the shows you are seeing, and how when you go
to Spain you won't miss any. Do you try to actually hit every show?
If so, that is quite an accomplishment in logistics! :)

I certainly don't go to all the gigs, but I go to a lot. It depends.
Last year, they only played the East Coast, and I went to all but 3 (11
shows). I usually end up going to between 10 and 15 per tour.

I've noticed that I am going to more shows this year than I probably
would have had they announced all the shows at once. If they had
announced the West Coast shows, I probably would not have gone to
Manchester/London, for example...

Also depends on where I have friends to stay with, etc. I was going to
go to Australia again, since I have friends there, but the one show per
city/GA stadium bit deterred me from that. I also didn't go to the SF
festival show, even though I live 30 minutes away, because I won't do
festivals, not even for PJ... and if I can swing a business reason to go
where PJ are playing, all the better!
