I was at this show. It was pretty good. I have much more fond memories
of GA shows in my younger days than I do now.

It used to always be mosh pit and be up close vs. seated seats and no
pit. I think it'd been so long since I saw PA in a GA environment
(seattle '98 I think.. if you don't include vancouver 2000).

So it took me a little bit to tune out the elbows and crowd surfers
almost taking my head off... or some guy on speed who almost took out 12
people because I was the only one that knew the name of given to fly.. lol.

Once I got into it though.. It was really good. I loved hearing rats,
and the WMA tag on daughter was awesome.

It seemed to also take the band a little bit to get into it, but I think
by the end of the first set.. they were right into it, and the energy
level went up a few notches.

Brother was awesome and it took me a little bit to realize it was the
real me...

not bad at all for a festival. It was pretty funny though, we got there
at 6:30pm and people were coming in droves.. I really wondered how many
people bothered to show up for the rest of the festival and how many to
see pearl jam.

getting out of that venue was a nightmare. first the hike back to the
top of the mountain damn near killed me :) and second there's only two
exits out of the parking lot back down off the mountain. there were
accident's on both sides, and traffic turned into a giant cluster****.

I drove back to Edmonton after the show, I got home shortly after 2pm.
18th pearl jam show, and the first one where I got to sleep in my own
bed after the show (take that all you whiners who complain about having
to take road trips to see pearl jam :) ).

This has got me all warmed up to see the Seattle shows next month.
Still a little dissapointed that they didn't announced Vancouver at the
same time. I probably would of made a week of it, but now my vacation
is mostly used up.

Thanks for the review. I'm totally over GA... But some people like it,
so it's good they are mixing it up. Seattle will be great. This tour
has been coming out in drips... I still think they may be filling in
between SD and Philly, but who knows.. maybe they don't even know yet.
All I know is I keep getting sucked into adding shows this way!

I'm in London, driving up to Manchester today for the show tomorrow
after picking up my Irish friends at Heathrow. Can't wait! We're going
to see Tolkien's grave and the Rollright Stones along the way.
