Just a short little story...

Also a bit of a sad one at that...my dog died last night. My family
has always been found of Golden retreivers. My aunt and uncle have
had 3 or 4. This is my 2nd one, and we have always had good luck. We
used to name our animals after Star Wars Characters, my aunts were
Luke, and Chewie. While my first, when I was about 8 or 9, was Leia.
They are excellent dogs.

When I was a teenager I got a cat for my birthday, and I was too old
to use Star Wars names anymore, so I named him Angus...after my
favorite rock star. (AC/DC rules) That trend contunes as I got my
dog about 12 years ago. What else to name him but Eddie. I can't say
enough good things about this dog. He was friendly to eveyone, and
loved water, and sometimes the dirtier the water the better...haha.

He has more recently been referred to as "Old Man" just because of his
slowing down. It may not sound like it but "old man" is a term of
endearment. I will miss you Eddie, I hope I was as good for you, as
you were for me.

My condolences. Always hard to lose a pet. They truly are members of
the family.

Sorry to hear that. :-(

Our animals become part of the family in a way, so losing one is
always hard.

My sympathy goes out to you.

Sorry to hear about your loss. It's always tough to lose a companion.
