Man, I hope that "slower tempo" note about Even Flow is the truth. I'd
love to hear it. Solid setlist. Glad to see Sometimes getting some
play.

Okay, didn't I just post today that I liked the slower tempo Evenflow?
Okay, here's another... I want to hear Vedderman as the last song
instead of Yellow Ledbetter, with a nice psychedelic jam in the
middle.... :)

Leaving Friday for London... can't wait, and I'm glad they're warming up
on someone else... ;)

I really wish they'd employ a little more variety when it comes to
closing songs. There are MANY songs in the catalog that are more than
appropriate as a closing number. I can think of once in the last 10
years they used RVM, maybe two or three times they closed with Porch,
once closing with Black, once Crazy Mary. These are songs they could
be closing with all the time. What about Immortality? Wishlist (new
drawn out version)? Even Long road would work as well as a closer as
it does an opener. It seems that, with a few exceptions, they almost
always close with RITFW, Yellow Ledbetter, Indifference, or Alive
(only they generally do that last one overseas only). Baba has become
scarce, and Fuckin' Up is rarely the last tune anymore.

I just wish they changed up the end of the show as much as they do the
beginning. These days it's hard to know AT ALL what they are going to
play to start the show. Would be nice to have no clue how it will end,
either.

I hear ya... hence the Vedderman close... On the other hand, those
songs I'm so sick of make a good opportunity to take pictures... ;)

I always thought Black would be a great closer. Its 1 of their
signature songs...it would fit in with them closing with mellow songs
(indifference, ledbetter, etc)....it would end with an extended mike
solo like ledbetter.....and then it could get real quiet and eddie
would sing the "do do do do do" part, then the whole crowd could take
over and the concert would end with the crowd continuing to sing that
part. Similar to how U2 would end their shows in the 80s with "40"
with the crowd singing "how long to sing this song" as the band left
the stage.

I should email this to eddie, anybody got his email address?
